The Vote for Change concert series, in which a coalition of music stars will perform in 11 battleground states to support the ouster of President Bush, will culminate on Oct. 11 with a four-hour Washington show that will bring together 13 of the acts, among them Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, R.E.M., John Fogerty, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, the Dave Matthews Band and James Taylor.

That show at the MCI Center will follow the 36-city tour that begins Oct. 1.

Expected to raise tens of millions of dollars, the concerts are presented by MoveOn to benefit America Coming Together, two prominent organizations advocating liberal causes in this election year.
