Bush is accustomed to audiences that have signed statements pledging their allegiance to him. I doubt the GOP was able to get all the world UN ambassadors to comply with their wishes!! LOL

It's the first time Bush has made a speech to an audience that has it's eyes open and isn't obligated to support him. I think his speech writers got carried away and forgot who Bush was speaking to!!

I think it was a very condescending speech. A speech which scolded and even scoffed at the world for failing to see Iraq the way he sees it. He did not use the word "peace" even once. He said the war was still ongoing.

I was looking more for him to outline a peace plan and seek the UN help for peace.

It is the peace, stupid is what I tell Bush after I heard him.
