Bush tells the world that Iraq is sovereign. Bush tells everybody that he respects Islam. This post proves that he continues to say things that he does not believe in. Hoever I give Bush the credit for acting on what he believes in. It is evident that sovereignty has not been returned to Iraq. It is eveident he does not respect Islam since Islam does not hold women hostage. After all why should we believe in what Bush says. Wasn't he the one who once told us Mission Accomplished and 85% of the deaths of US military occured after he said that.

U.S. contradicts Iraqis over release of women

The Associated Press
Updated: 9:42 a.m. ET Sept. 22, 2004BAGHDAD, Iraq - Two Iraqi female prisoners being held by U.S. authorities in Iraq will not be released imminently, the U.S. embassy in Baghdad said on Wednesday. Militants who purportedly killed two American hostages have threatened to execute a Briton with them unless all female Iraqi prisoners are let go.

The U.S. statement came hours after Iraq promised to release one of the women prisoners, but denied the decision was linked to the militants' demands.

"The two women are in legal and physical custody of the multinational forces in Iraq and neither will be released imminently," a spokesman for the U.S. embassy said.

Good to see Kerry get the spine to call a spade a spade.

The only right signal to send to our troops is the signal to withdraw.

Two more US soldiers killed today. 59 so far this month and we have 8 more days to go. Looks like Dumbya's toll will exceed that of August (66). It is already more than the toll of July (54)

"Let freedom reign!"

That is a clever bit of fascist propaganda.

Here is why that article is a lie, and anyone who uses it is fascist scum. It relies on a strawman argument.

Kerry has never said that the world is a less-safe or less-secure place with Saddam out of power. Kerry has always maintained the world is a better place without Saddam.

What Kerry has said is that Bush, by botching up the job of removing Saddam, has made the world a less-safe place for the United States. I.e., it is not the fact that Saddam is gone that makes us less safe, it is the fact that Iraq is now a FUBAR mess over which we have little or no control.

Don't bother replying, I'm not much interested in what you have to say.

"Two more US soldiers killed today. 59 so far this month ..."

Make that 61. Two more soldiers' lives were lost today. How many more have to die before people realize the futility of it all?! This is just too sad.
