.......... It makes a lot of sense. I have that Irish citizenship. The trouble is that I'm getting older and more set in my ways. I'm not sure I can uproot. I'm going to Ireland for three weeks next June to see what the terrain is like. I haven't been there in years.

But really? Does the EU present better living opportunities? These neocons could turn the whole world into a sickening pit.

I see a lot of engineers of Indian origin putting money into buying land/houses in Bangalore and elsewhere in India. They feel that in the coming years, social security will be non-existent and even their 401k's might be raided and wiped out, and they want to have some assets in their home country. I don't think their fears and concerns are baseless.
