"This is sad."

Of course it's sad. It's not legitimate unless a multimillion dollar 'independent' counsel catches him in a lie first. Perhaps something regarding his voting record or perhaps the fact that his lover is his overpaid Chief of Staff (provided the story is true of course).

So, what is the standard for Republicans these days? They campaign on a platform of higher moral values. It's hard to live up to so I will be curious to hear his side of things. Personally, I would like to see all personal attacks stop but that is never going to happen in American politics. It's been going on far too long and is now just part of the system.

"I wonder how many of you Lefties will be criticizing this attack on personal grounds. "

I dunno if I qualify, but I have repeatedly objected to forcibly outing people. It is an inexcusable invasion of privacy.

> LA Weekly to out anti-gay GOP congressman David Dreier for first time in print media

This is sad. I wonder how many of you Lefties will be criticizing this attack on personal grounds.

What's there to attack? Is Dreier gay?
