In general I am not smug, and definitely not uncurious, however time is a limited asset and I don't want to spend mine tracking down wild conspiracy theories that IMO have something like a one in a billion or less chance of being true. If you provided a link to "proof" that gravity would become a repulsive force in a few hours, or to "proof" that Kerry was an extraterrestrial alien I would be similarly uninterested spending much time and effort to analyze this "proof". Its conceivable that any one of those three ideas are true, its even conceivable that easily understand proof is available in some book or website. If so I guess I'll miss out on such information until and unless it becomes public news, or at least is supported by someone who I think has consistently shown themselves to be reasonable and deserving of a large measure of respect.

Exactly, the U.S. has basically evolved into a massive criminal enterprise, much like past empires that plundered the world. And, as usual, any criminal enterprise needs it's pawns and dupes to operate. The Repubs have literally got 10,000,000s of them walking around in this country. This situation will not change until enough people wake up and smell the coffee, which probably means it will never change.
