I'm not Jewish nor Christian, why would either of them concern me? I am not beholden to keep the laws of the Old Testament, like the dietary things, because I am not Jewish.
As to Paul? He is not Jesus. I should follow his word on things? That is not side-stepping, that is dismissing. He is not the prophet.
