Doug you can always say a glass is half full or half empty. But whaddya gonna say when the Iraqi's have a 250-300k security force trained and in place? Even the WORST critics now are saying there are perhaps 20k terrorists (used to be 5k). That is HARDLY a majority in a country of 23 MILLION. Yes, there are pockets of problems but a very large percentage of the country land wise is relatively peaceful. the problem we have is this war has become POLITICIZED by the Kerry camp. Were it not for an election year you wouldnt be getting this "TET" offensive kind of talk and people would be exerting some PATIENCE. All thats really needed is TIME to get the Iraqi security forces formed, trained and mobilized. That takes maybe a year, unfortunately the year spans our election dates. jdn
