Sumner Redstone is now aware that CBS blew it. From the Viacom company profile, it makes money from advertising. And their most visible spokesman (DR) has tainted the entire company to the extent that Republicans will take some business elsewhere. I do not believe the name Dan Rather will be around much longer at CBS. But I am often wrong, or perhaps just hopeful. Sig For the six months ended 6/30/04, revenues rose 9% to $13.61 billion. Net income before acct. change increased 31% to $1.46 billion. Revenues reflect increased advertising revenues and affiliate fees
