Bush's service is a ridiculous "issue"... to begin with. Each of us was a very different person 35 years into the past. Mary Mapes of CBS has been working five years to get something on GWB from way back then that Rather could put on the air. It is beyond absurdity. It is different with John (Reporting for Duty) Kerry, because he chose to make 35-years-ago his main qualification for election -- equally absurd, but if that's what he's running on we're entitled to look at it carefully. Voters are sick and tired of the Dems obsession with the past, and will show that in the voting booths. JC
