He seems to have been trying to re-invent himself as a radical or something recently. He did a lot of that persona shifting during his campaign. Didn't he portray himself as a farm boy at one time? His recent yelling stuff didn't play well. Dean was getting support for that kind of conduct at about the same time, so maybe he thought that is what the voters were looking for. I expect him to resurface in a year or two with a new persona. Pipe smoking, cardigan wearing, intellectual maybe?
