One of the blogs - can't remember - had a quote from Kerry saying he wanted to "bask" in the glory of the Yankees winning - no Red Sox fan would say nice things about the Yankees.

This sentence: I would counter that Bush is inherently comfortable in the company of strangers, regardless of the venue...a characteristic that Kerry has not cultivated as a man of privilege......made me realize something that has developed over the last 3 years with Bush, and that we are now seeing---

Bush is now comfortable in his own skin.

Remember when he had those 'deer in the headlight' looks...I think he was trying to be all things to all people, and paying too much attention to his handlers.

Now, he listens to his handlers, thinks about it, and does what he thinks is the right thing to do.

And it shows every day that we are seeing and hearing him these days.

Kerry hasn't developed that, and can not, IMO. Not only he is being pulled every which way by handlers, but he doesn't even have a clue about who he really is.
