There is no more balance of power or accountability in Washington. That is why you see the "powers that be" taking such bold moves like launching a clearly offensive war against Iraq. Is it really hard to comprehend why they do such blatantly abusive of power things and actually get away with them? Just look at the propagandized dolts on this thread. They were the same ones urgently calling for an Attack on Iraq to stop WMDs back in early 2003. I remember the debates. Pathetic, that suppossedly mistrustful of government conservatives would believe every last bit of BS that comes out of Washington. Our leaders can lead this clowns any which way they please, and they know it, and are empowered by this ability to so easily con people.
