Well down to earth means different things to different folks.

I like the BBQs Bush has, not the catered crap Kerry has when he has gatherings. I like the fact that Bush shows himself working, even if it is posed, on his ranch. It does resonate with those of us who enjoy similar things.

I don't associate to anything Kerry has shown himself doing, except shooting. All Kerry did when he show'd himself shooting was to expose himself as a huge hypocrite. So he LOST points for trying to impress me when he is a known supporter of the gun banners.

Neither one of these guys would tell either one of us "hello" if he was not running for Pres. They would walk by with security to their limo or private jet and be very preturbed that you were allowed to see them much less offer a hello.

They are snobs. They do not relate to us. When is the last time either one of these guys worried about a checking account with $50 in it and having a $200 electric bill due? When has either one of these guys seriously considered the plight of someone choosing the car payment and gas for work, or dinners for that week? Other than a "tsk tsk" and a talking point, these two don't understand what Joe common guy is going through. And if you say Kerry understands that you are lying or severely misled.

They both are from a different world of money than Joe middle class. They do not share anything with us, except during election cycles. Then they bother to visit a Walmart for the first time and act surprised when a gallon of milk is $2.39......

This election is about larger things than that and who is best to get Joe middle man back to happy and satisfied status. Kerry won't do it. Bush has a better shot at it. Iraq will resolve itself within a year or so. We will begin a pull out. Either man could be siting at the helm when that happens. It will happen when the Iraqis decide for it to happen.
