I stand by my statements. I know two smearvets claim to have been 50 yards from Kerry during one battle but in fact when they were interviewed a year or two ago they said it was 100-200 yards, too far away to see anything. They also lied that they were not under enemy fire. That contradicts men on their own boats, Navy records, plus Rassman who was being shot at, plus three bulletholes in one of the boats. They also lied saying Kerry's boat was not attacked but that he "fled" and threww Rassman off the boat by accelerating. Such bald-faced liars. And they know it. Besides if what they were saying were true, then they would have tpo give back their own medals earned that day. Just crapola. P{retty clar these smearvets just make up stuff because they are extreme riughtwingers, the same type ones who called McCain a "traitor" in 2000.
