About what you have seen in Texas...either you are just ignorant, or you are just a lying bag of crap. What little bit you SEE from a train is just like every railroad. They are built through or around the oldest parts of towns. You get no view from that. And don't forget..our Mexican population has a HUGE impact on the environment...ever been to Mexico?....looks just like you described...trash everywhere... I don't mind being a cheerleader for Texas, as Texas has more to offer than 90% of other states...from the differences in topography, to the many different cultures, to it's people, who don't suffer fools lightly..that is probably why you did not like it.
