Kerry tells the man who has placed his life on the line for his country that he's unrealistic. What a dolt. Has John Kerry ever stepped a foot inside Iraq? I doubt it, yet he tells the country's PM who lives there on a daily basis that he's unrealistic. Just when we were sure we couldn't think less of Kerry, he proves us wrong.

The national intelligence estimate is just that, the best unbiased analysis we have of the Iraqi situation, and it's not pretty. What basis do you have to say that it's wrong?

Alliwi was installed as Prime Minister by America and retains his post only by the grace of 130,000 American troops. Allawi may be a good man, and I hope he's right, but he is also a politician and not above placing the best possible face on a bad situation.

``The prime minister and the president are here obviously to put their best face on the policy, but the fact is that the CIA estimates, the reporting, the ground operations and the troops all tell a different story,'' Kerry said. Kerry is spinning bullsquat
