Can you link the ones you're citing?

I saw one that tried to show the 'left bias' by attempting to chart news organizations on a scale of 0-100 (Conservative to Liberal) with lawmakers in Congress. The flaw I saw was that they designated the 'mean' as the 'political center'. Ignores the fact that, since Congress is now controlled by Republicans, it's mean is NOT the 'political center'.

Of course, all these are fairly arbitrary, because it depends on how you score news reporting as 'liberal' or 'conservative'.

And what "scientific polls" might those be? Can you site links or publications? I'd really like to read those. Or are you engaging in glittering generalities?
