Rumsfeld wasn't sitting on it. He'd been taking action. CBS and Mapes exposed something that already was being addressed.

However, that aside, I strongly advocate putting Rather's and Mapes' boots on the ground in Iraq to dig up whatever else they can. Maybe 300,000 bodies of Saddam's genocide.... Nahhh. That wouldn't help Kerry.
