Because of Bush mainly, the USA has a target on its back in Iraq. Winning the war in Iraq reauires a comprehensive, moderate international approach. Yes wipe out the nests of killers, but also inspire a new nation and make the entire world, including neighboring Arab states responsible. Bush's whole approach has been to go in like the Great White Hunter, grab the oilfields and occupy the place with firepower but no realistic plan and very little help. That has already failed. The longer we stay there under Bush the worse it will become.
