What was most bothersome to me was the puppeteer role they were playing..they hadn't a clue re: what/who they were really voting for..my feeling is..regardless of who you vote for, especially as a young adult..have your own facts that you've researched and have conviction..form your beliefs which shape your decisions but let them come from your own exploration, heart and mind..these kids didn't have it..they thought I was a slam dunk..dressed in SF "acceptable" attire, accessories..I hope it taught them..there were three that I played sociologist with..that beliefs come in different bodies and clothes..and the surface is no indication of the depths.. Didn't run into young Republicans..indeed, since kids' growth and development and issues are closest and dearest to my concerns..I'd rather that they had become indignant, trying to enlighten me re: Bush/Kerry..regardless of my opinion..
