CUBE was cool looking and quiet, but I don't remember it as having major technical advances. Besides being at the cusp of the economic/market crash, it didn't really offer customers much besides cool factor. G5iMac is a technical advance to the iMac line, nicely coupled with cool design. G5iMac is more like the original iMac in this respect. So it will do well. Unfortunately the world is not pooised to jump into the internet (they're already there) and don't need the new computer as much as they did when iMac debued.
