Of course there was mention of Iraq. What Clarke maintaines is that there is no DIRECT link currently proving that Iraq was involved in the planning or execution of the 9-11 attack. Which is different than saying that Iraq was not involved with al Qaeda. The Bush Administration does not dispute this.

In fact the Sudanese plant was bombed shortly before the plant was scheduled to deliver a shipment of "animal medications" to Iraq.
