Do you get an error message when you try to post a reply?

Errors on this version of the site are going to be largely useless (I hate that about ASP.NET), but if it's a programming error, the telltale will be a white screen with a yellow box with utterly useless information in it.

Okay, that last one was a really slow pitch right down the middle. Who's gonna knock it outta the park? <g>

That's a feature. Posting to the thread does not direct to the thread originator. That prevents their inbox from filling with posts from people who are just posting "to the thread".
