How can they be so naive? They did what ever it took to win over Gore, and they are doing the same with Kerry. Whether or not their statements have any basis in any form of consensual reality is not even an issue. Heck, I expect them to pick up on Steve's line that Kerry is engaging in sedition just by the fact he is running against the incumbent...

People continue to buy into the nobility of Bush. Only recently is American media starting to get it. And still they act surprised.
