The UN isn't independent, it represents the collective will of it's members. Could it be made relevant? Maybe... it's currently handcuffed by it's bureaucracy. In the post-9/11 world, they should redo the charter... but I don't see that happening, especially with the current non-cooperative sentiment. We need to get Bush out of office in order to get the west started on a cooperative strategy to address the worlds problems. John
