If none of the other
suggestions work, you could copy the text into a PM to
yourself.

For years I have been using a product called ClipMate for clipping and saving stuff. (There are other similar products.) It's much easier to save stuff you want to keep by just clipping it rather than saving it to a file. I keep it running all the time because it's useful for various other things like font size problems. If I can't read something, I clip it and read it in my clipboard window.

ClipMate also has a spell checker, which will be useful now that we don't have the preview feature. I can compose my reply here on SI and clip it to spell check it or I can compose my reply there and past it into the SI window. It's also useful for saving a long post in case the computer dies between composition and actual posting. I forget to use it sometimes. I just lost my last post to CB when my overgrown fingernails hit something by mistake and I lost the partially completed response. Had to re-do it.

There are lots of useful utilities out there but we sometimes don't think to go looking for them because we don't know what to look for or even that it exists. I don't know how I would get along without this one.

This morning I'm not bothering with spelling, though... <g>
