I don't think Bush has made it worse. Events have led to existing frictions being increased. I say this remembering what the world was thinking when the Russian grabbed the airport at Prishtina during Bosnia. What were we going to do before they changed their mind?

I was hoping China and Russia would "persuade" North Korea to be nice. It wouldn't take much for the little bastard in NK to demonstrate Russia and China are screwing up by ignoring the problem.

CRAWFORD, United States (AFP) - US President George W. Bush (news - web sites) and his allies are increasingly warning voters that Democratic White House hopeful John Kerry (news - web sites) is undermining the war on terrorism and US-led efforts in Iraq (news - web sites).

Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi at the White House on Thursday, Bush said Kerry's criticisms of his handling of Iraq "can embolden an enemy" and "can dispirit the Iraqi people."
