C-SPAN had an interview yesterday with a woman reporter for the Washington Post, who talked about how people have more outlets for news so pick what suits them.

Conservatives like Fox, liberals like NPR, and so on.

The callers were in agreement. Of course, if you actually watch or listen to C-SPAN, you already have cable, and you are a news junkie to begin with.

What passes for "local news" on the local stations is mostly DC politics, almost nothing on Fairfax, so why bother?
