The LA Times investigated the Cambodia story and determined that Kerry was either in Cambodia or damn close to it far behind enemy lines. As one Kerry boat mate said, "there aren't exactly signs saying 'welcome to Cambodia" One of the rivers they were on was the actual border of Cambodia so that qualifies as Cambodia. O'Neill, the lliar in charge of the Smearvets admitted to Nixon he too had been in Cambodia after taking over Kerry's boat after he left. O'Neill later lied and said he had never been to Cambodia, afraid of being caught in a lie. It's a fact that the CIA was running blacks ops into Cambodia in those days and using SwiftBats as their taxis. Kerry's campaign claims he was in Cambodia 3-4 times and there is no reason not to believe him. Kerry never lies. Try another.
