Are you going to continue with the total cost, current value and gain/loss fields in the Portfolio? I sure hope so. :)

Hi Dave

I must have forgotten about the portfolios going away... but I do appreciate your efforts in making the basic data available. thanks.

and having said this, I think the format you provided is ok for me...I just would like to get a list of the securities and private companies I was tracking...

thanks again

It appears that I get 'A' for Speed Reading time but 'F' for comprehension. I was not aware that the portfolio tracking was being discontinued. Total Cost and Comments would be somewhat beneficial but not necessary. I do NEED to recapture my portfolio records. The other portfolios I was tracking would be helpful but not critical. How do I access these data?

I missed the messages that the Portfolios are no longer avaliable. The main reason I joined SI was to be able to set up Portfolios and Watch Lists. I have found this feature very valuable in trading stocks. Please reconsider re-installing the Portfolios and Watch Lists.

Thank you

It looks like I wasn't the only one that didn't know the portfolios were going away. I made sure I read your posts and verified my passwords and other info were intact for the switch to the new SI, but nothing was said about making a copy of the 7 portfolios I was tracking. This is a huge mess!

Like others, I missed info about portfolios going away. I would really like to have them back. If not possible, is it possible to get a one time download of my portfolio data? This would be a great help. Thanks

I would like to have a download of my portfolios. My account # is 7647442. The format you provided will be fine. I just need the data as this was an important tracking tool for me.

Thanks

D- You've done a fine job; many thanks. I don't mind my private portfolio going away, but I do miss the public portfolios linked to certain threads that have gone away, such as, "Gorilla and King Portfolio candidates - Moderated" and "Quarter to Quarter Aggressive Growth Stocks".

Any chance of them returning? -L.

It looks you are trying to reformulate the portfolio function. If so, it looks fine. I would add that percentage changes in a stock's performance from the date of purchase is an added plus. It seems to me that the portfolio ID is extraneous info.

Like others, I did not realize our portfolios would be lost. While I can make a stab at recreating the history of mine, I would prefer to retrieve it whole if possible.
