Kerry was a true hero in Vietnam. He saved Green Beret Jim Rassman's life, then after he was back in the USA helped lead the fight to end that disasterous war, telling the truth, the painful truth, and Nixon was so affected by it he obsessed with destroying Kerry. But he could find no dirt on Kerry despite 2 years of FBI surveillance. Before he died Nixon apologized to Kerry. Now the rightwing smearvets owe Kerry and this country a big apology. Smearvet lies have really hurt our democracy and country badly.
