"By way of background, I am a retired (1999) Army colonel with active Marine enlisted service (1967-69). I have been a registered Independent my entire political life and truthfully can say I have voted for members of both the Republican and Democratic Parties at the local, state, and national levels." glechliter.glcq.com
OK, KP. I should be in bed, but I re-read Lechlips' intro here...no psych doc here, but a couple of things pop out...
IMHO, Ex-Marine enlisted don't normally wind up with a commission in another service unless there is a reason. I say this guy did not ever make the transition from a self-centered individual to a Corps-centered Marine. Self-less men do not carry around as much hate-baggage as this man does. They have more important things to do. Putting others first is a full-time job.
Re: "with active Marine enlisted service (1967-69)." With two year's of service, he was in the Marines to avoid being drafted in the Army...He makes a big deal of being a Marine, but says nothing about his Vietnam service. Why not?...If he were Kerry, he would have come home with a S/S, a B/S, and three purple owies.
Re: "I have been a registered Independent my entire political life and truthfully can say I have voted for members of both the Republican and Democratic Parties at the local, state, and national levels." Sounds like a man with no convictions to me. Glad he "truthfully can say" something.
I think he got out of the Army in 1999 and went to law school. I think this is the same guy, thrashing around doing what lawyers without rudders do...make trouble... state.de.us
Well maybe he didn't pass the Del bar. Here he is suing SecDef pro se in August...I don't have a subs to WestLaw, so this is all I can get from this link... 216.109.117.135 Gerald A.
