M.Atta was not poor, and neither are most fundamentalists here in the U.S. The repression is the key, that and training the young in religious schools. I don't think poverty is much of a factor wich also means that handouts are not the solution.


I agree partly with what you say but I do think poverty plays a role and acts as a recruiting tool. Think about it.......if you have a job and are able to feed your family, do you think you would go off terrorizing? Many of the terrorist recruits are 20 year olds who can't find work. The ME has a high birth rate and a low job formation rate..........definitely a bad combo.
