President Clinton issued executive orders to the CIA to kill Osama bin Laden, and ordered attacks against Osama's camps to that end. What more could he have done? You write of Clinton that "..just that simple action.." yet, three years after 9/11, despite the overwhelming support of the world community, despite authorization from Congress, despite your hero's personal vow to get Osama "dead or alive" Osama still walks a free man. Simple? When OBL was offered to Pres Clinton, he should have discovered a way to keep him incarcerated instead of saying "no thank you." Clinton knew OBL was responsible for both the attacks on the USS Cole and on the embassies. He could have found a way in the international arena to keep that fundamentalist lunatic behind bars. Just that simple action would have saved 3000 American lives on Sept 11.
