Elroy,

1- How many of the coalition troops that were going to police Iraq after the fall of the Saddam regime spoke conversational Arabic?

How many spoke German, Italian and Japanese in WWII?

2- Why didn't the coalition close Iraqis border crossings the day that the invasion began?

Maybe you missed the point that it was enough of a logistical nightmare to get a division parked off the shore of Turkey to go all around to Kuwait and be part of the action militarily. It's not like the troops we have there currently are sitting around doing nothing, enogh of them to be able to spare 100,000 or so to guard a few thousand miles of Iraqi borders (not just crossings).

3- Where is the media campaign to win Iraqi support for liberal democracy?

That's a serious deficiency in my opinion. But I believe now the US has a satellite channel up in arabic, broadcasting to the entire region.

4- Why are Al Aribiya, Al Jazeera and other Arab anti-US propaganda machines allowed to broadcast in Iraq before it is stabilized?

They are satellite based.

5- Why isn't the entire country under curfew until it is stabilized?

One reason is that there is no reason for curfew in the entire country, probably 2/3rds. There are not enough forces to enforce it in the 1/3 that coul use it.

6- How can you be supportive of the Bush administration's post-war performance in Iraq?? It's about as bad as can be conceived.

The early days of Churchil and FDR were no pickick either.

George C student son of the president strong leader but not deep thinker Bush has gotta go.

I always get a chuckle when I hear someone imply he/she is smarter that Bush.
