I stayed up just as late, but didn't wake up for keeps until about 10:00, slurped down the cold coffee I'd poured myself when I'd woke up at 7:30, and came to the office. On the motorcycle. Upon finding that no street-legal car parked near the house had keys in it, the only running car in the workshop is blocked in by the truck, and the truck ain't viable because it's got a 48-foot trailer on its butt. I've got a key locker in the garage. Nobody ever uses it. <sigh> If not for the fact that I'm the only one who ever rides the motorcycle, I probably would've had to hitch-hike to the office. Edit: Just realized the dump truck has the key in it (another vehicle only I use, so the key might as well be welded in). That would've been fun to drive that to work, and would've made for an interesting picture in front of the office, under our nice sign.
