Like most Americans, I am consrvative on some things and liberal on others, but mainly in the middle. I think gay marriage is ridiculous. Pacifists are idiots. Fiscal conservatism is a must (and Bush-DElay are the opposite). The environment should be a bi-partisan issue just like terrorism is. Guns are fine with background checks and waiting periods but no assault or military weapons ever. Working with our allies is the smart thing to do in most cases. Starting wars should be only when we absolutely need to. Too much power in one party corrupts that party (see the current GOP). And keeping a strong middleclass benefits everyone. Also, get tough on immigration excdpt for cute girls from other countries.
