FACT Doug R is caught lying again. Fact Prescott Bush worked for, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), acted as a US base for the German industrialist, Fritz Thyssen. In 1935 Fritz Thyssen.came to the United States and became a prominent anti- Nazi speaker. " Records in the National Archives and Library of Congress absolutely prove shrub's grandaddy helped fuel hitler's rise to power and continued aiding the nazi's during the war." (He had not taken seriously Nazi anti- semitism until after the Party came to power, and was appalled. Also, his wife was Jewish.)He came to the United States and became a prominent anti- Nazi speaker. Thyssen was guilty of being a liberal and was mugged and because a Republican.

I corrected my mistake. As far as I know, they continued to have dealings with Thyssen's siblings, who, though German nationals, were not political. However, there is a case of acting on behalf of a holding company with some Nazi investors, which I never quite untangled, since it was actually based in Holland. It has been a few years since I did any research on this. Anyway, the initiative in all of these things were from the Harrimans, who had the dominant positions in the investment banks involved. Prescott was in a junior position. Just as a matter of curiosity, did you condemn all trade with the Soviet Union? With Communist China?
