Ted, Of course, Carter would feel the same way. You could probably add Powell and McCain to that list but they have to be good boys because they are members of the GOP.

Powell and McCain are hardly ABBers. Powell might be keeping his public appearances subdued, but McCain is a strong supporter of Bush. And unlike Carter, both are continuing to hold faith in the Bush administration.

By the way, if Bush wins, I wouldn't be surprised if his administration undergoes a "reorg" and tones down its "neoconservatism." Unfortunately, it isn't something Bush can even hint before the election without dire political consequences. Just bookmark this and we'll see what happens months from now.
