Hummm... the top and bottom bars appear to have different font sizes. THe bottom status bar still has the old gray value.

I haven't followed this thread much, but I gather there have been comments about the interface being hard on peoples eyes. I agree. I have moderately weak eyes, and reading these screens for more than about ten minutes gives me a headache. I didn't get that with classic, which was much gentler on the eyes. Can't you please take pity on us old folks with weak eyes and at least give us a soothing background, beige or light yellow, or something? Or, maybe we should claim to be a disability group and demand that as a business enterirpse you have to provide accommodations for our disaabilities. Nah. Not yet. That sounds too lawyerly and adversarial. For now, let's just make it a request, or a plea even.
