You wrote a good post. I believe all adults,
regardless of party affiliation, should be
accountable for their actions.

I've long noticed you are above the typical Kerry supporter. Now I understand why.

It seems your Kerry support is tied to your disappointment in Bush. Do you really give much credence to the idea that Kerry will be more responsible and accountable than Bush. Face it, he doesn't accept responsibility for falling down on a ski slope or for the SUV's he drives. Or anything else I can see.

There's a certain type of Republican who prefers defeat with purity of ideals and purpose. Impractical IMO.

"Bush clearly lied when he said "We've removed an ally of al Qaeda." Under no reasonable definition do we have evidence that Iraq / Saddam was an ally of al Qaeda."

I see. I use irrefutable facts that show Iraq had numerous
ties to terrorists. Saddam harbored, supported & trained
terrorists, including Al Qaeda. Those are undeniable facts.

You simply say it isn't so. To you that trumps fact & reality.

OK, you spin it to say "ally". I guess to you that somehow
means something significant. Unfortunately, that's not
relevant at all. Bush laid out the criteria & I linked you to
a good deal of it. Most of Congress & most of America agreed
with how Bush framed it. Saddam was a legitimate threat in
the WOT & he got what he deserved.

"Bush should be held accountable for the mess in Iraq (he is to blame) and the weak economy (he is partially responsible). I guess Bush supporters don't believe in accountability."

I don't see Iraq as a "mess".

Your opinion of the economy currently is at odds with real
world performance. And considering everything that has
happened since Bush took office, we're lucky we're not in a
severe global recession. IMO, Bush's success in the WOT & how
he has managed those few things he can relating to the
economy, have made the difference.

Bush supporters are all for accountability. We just don't
hold him to standards of perfection & when that isn't met,
consider it utter failure. Oh & Bush supporters don't use a
constantly moving target to assure that everything Bush
accomplishes can be considered a failure simply by moving the
goal posts.

"I am a Republican and former RNC delegate. I’m probably the only former RNC delegate on. But why does it matter who tells you the truth?"

Huh?
