If they implement a "most popular" interface feature, I'm sure yours (Bill) will be near the top of the list.

It'll end up much like iHub's, although I want to make the configuration screen more user-friendly, if possible. But, like on iHub, it'll have some presets where people can just click one button and have all of the elements change to that preset.

I started in on just a little bit of this today, but won't have anything in production for a while. The first iteration of user-config will definitely make the message-box configurable, though.

It is fairly obvious that Bob feels that the people and discussion is what makes SI work but ease of use and feature set is very important to attract quality people.

Amen.

However, SI needs to make money to survive and prune & rebuild is an appropriate approach.

We do it because we love it, but love doesn't pay the bills and put food on the table, so it has to be a viable business.
