Bush is fighting the past...again. Just as he ignored terrorism in favor of fighting the cold war, he's fighting for oil instead of becoming oil independent. Bush is an oil man, all his friends and cronies are oilmen or too close for comfort. Oil is how he views the world but the world has moved on.

Oh yeah, in a war between the US and China over oil....we may not win.

I have no idea how the election will go. No one does. That's why there will be 40,000 lawyers at polling stations getting ready to file suit. That's why Nader's still trying to get on ballots. That's why the polls are wildly apart from each other. I'm not assuming anything.

As I've said before silly, corporations go and capital flies to those places with a better ROI. Bush supporters show the world how stupid, how under educated and how totally out of touch with reality a large percentage of Americans are. They're supporting their vision of America: an arrogant, drunk, drug-addled dilettante who takes tons of vacation time, who doesn't read, is a pathological liar, suffers from constipation of the brain and despises the rest of the world.

That's not a vision of the employee that lightens the hearts of management the world over. We used to look a lot brighter to the world....we're slipping and badly.

I have much higher expectations for the USA than you do. You settle for too little. BTW Bush is not a conservative...pay attention!

Bill Clinton publicly predicted America's decline while he was still in office. Of course, he did what he could to fulfill his prophecy.
