People can argue from now to eternity about the missteps made by Bremer. Had he not dissolved the army, you would have been howling about how the Americans weren't even pretending to care about democratic reform, they were keeping the same old Baathist war criminals in charge of everthing, same crew they had supported under Saddam.

But wait. That's what you're saying anyway.
