I have much sympathy for you. I am about half way between the middle and the right wing whackos. My wife is a little left of center. My brother used to accuse me of being an extremist, but that was when he thought he was an artist. After he became a business person, his politics became more rational. We now agree on many things politically. Perhaps I have mellowed too. To translate for Americanspirit that means 3/4 of the population is more liberal than myself. That puts me at about the same relationship to center that the five liberal TV news outlets are to the left.
