abstract -- the senile peanut farmer is a Kery minion. He is trolling for trouble. I wonder if he will find any IL residents registered there AND in WI. Selective senility?? He should have been deported when he pardoned the draft dogers. He would make a good statesman in Angola.

Well, a democrat made the charges, so we might want to listen
closely. Democrats do have the most experience in rigging
elections & voter fraud. Perhaps this Carter dude is on to
something.

If, indeed, Florida was selectively disqualifying black felons but not white nor Hispanic, that would be illegal.

It would also be monumentally stupid.

And, given the racial makeup of state governments, which tend to be MORE racially mixed than private businesses, at least in my observation, it would probably be impossible.

However, it certainly should be looked at.

As to disqualifying ALL felons from voting - that's a completely different issue. At least 14 states do so. Is that a violation of due process or equal protection or some other protected right? I am not aware of any legal challenge.

As far as I know, all states which disenfranchise felons also provide an avenue to have voting rights reinstated. The specter of felons voting from prison is repugnant to me, for one.
