Everyone is entitled to his/her opinions, but AGI-1067 is as water-insoluble as probucol. Metabolically all AGI probucol monosubstituted derivatives (at least 4 I know about) are very different from probucol and different from each other.</1> I do not have physical data for 1067, but probucol monosuccinate should be at least bit more water-soluble than probucol itself. Different by what? Physico-chemical property or pharmacological? BTW Probucol did have positive results on post-PTCA restenosis. Miljenko
