David, that's about it < I bet the gov't has a little price list:

Back pain: life time supply of aspirin, 4 jars a month, and the write you a check for $5000.

If you want Vicodin you're out of luck.

Calling a spade a spade:

<What a dumb cousin!>

<That's not very nice. >

<The friend stepped on the gas and the wheels were turned so the car jumped sideways and my brother had to have several vertebrae fused.>

It's not clear to me which one was dumb in that case. Perhaps both? The friend stepping on the gas obviously didn't know what they were doing. The brother getting in the way of such a dumb friend can't have been all that bright either.

People do all sorts of dumb things. See the darwinawards.com for some beauts. I don't think I'll report my most recent dumb one. Ridiculous would be more like it when analyzed in the cold light of day. Not as bad as the guy with the shotgun and missing gonads and a lot more fun.

While Vicodin (Acetaminophen aka paracetamol and Hydrocodone) is a prescription drug in the U.S. similar drugs like Panadeine (Acetaminophen aka paracetamol and Codeine) are "Over the Counter" drugs in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

If you can afford the modest cost, you can get as high as you choose. Some find it helpful to take a handful before driving their car to the local boozer for an evening of fun. Usually, they've spent so much on pills and grog they can't afford automobile insurance. So you're especially lucky if they hit you, as they can't pay.
