........how many years have you discussed the difference in performance between AMD and INTC chips? AMD? Forget it!! This is the stock with the chips you should be watching!!!! OmniVision's New 5-Megapixel CMOS Sensor to Rival CCDs in High-End Camera Market Couldn't agree more.

Elroy, OmniVision's New 5-Megapixel CMOS Sensor to Rival CCDs in High-End Camera Market Interesting... Do they have any customers? Competitors? The digital camera I bought recently can do 30 fps VGA and is 5 megapixel - Sony P-100 (or something like that). Is it possible it uses this chip? I would agree that this may be the next killer app. All that is needed is a good sensor, fast low power chip to process these images and to compress them to something like MPEG4 and 4 GB of flash in this, and camcorders are obsolete.
